Check plumbing coverage
in Massachusetts.

Separate a private sewer connection problem, a City-main backup, and winter loss of water before choosing the repair.

In Worcester, a sewer backup and a winter loss of water need different investigations. The City's own guidance distinguishes trouble in a public main from a problem in the building connection or indoor plumbing. Use the observations below to decide what to report to Water & Sewer Operations and what to discuss with our plumbers.

Local guidance applies within the supplier scope identified in the guide. Verify the utility on the property’s bill.
